⛺ On-Site Basics & Lodging
What are the Tent cabins like?
The camp is set in a beautiful redwood grove. Accommodations are rustic tent cabinets with camping cots (metal bed frames with mattresses), no heating or air conditioning. Each tent cabin has one electrical outlet.
🌿 Bring your own sheets, pillow and sleeping bag/bedding.
You’ll likely share a tent cabin with 2-3 others and we’ll do our best to match you with cabin mates who have similar sleep schedule preferences. If you have a special request to be in the same tent cabin as someone else, please email us - info@greenermindsummit.com at least two days in advance.
Can I camp?
You are welcome to tent camp if you prefer to bring your own setup - let us know at least two days in advance if you choose this option.
Is there wifi or cell service?
No wifi and no cell service on-site - and we’re excited about that! Internet is available across the street at Raymond’s Bakery. Make sure to download any music, maps, or content in advance.
🌿 For emergencies, share the camp office phone number with loved ones before you leave: (707) 632-5159.
🍴Food & Meals
What meals are provided?
All 6 meals are included (Friday dinner through Sunday lunch), served family- and buffet-style. Coffee and tea provided every morning and afternoon.

Can my dietary needs be accommodated?
All meals are served buffet-style with accommodations for many dietary needs - vegetarian, dairy free (DF), and gluten free (GF) options will be offered at every meal. Additionally no nuts will be served with any meals.

🌼 Programming
What workshops and activities are happening?
All workshops and activities are participant-led and they are going to be amazing this year! A detailed agenda will be shared just before the summit and descriptions will be posted on-site.
Still want to lead an activity or discussion? Email info@greenermindsummit.com
What's the Unconference?
The unconference is a series of participant-driven discussions where the agenda is co-created on-site, not planned in advance. Topics brainstorming starts Friday night, with conversations running Saturday afternoon through Sunday - no prep needed. Come with any questions or conversations you’ve been wanting to explore in an open and supportive environment.
What happens Saturday night?
Talent-less Show: Back by popular demand. Very low bar, very friendly audience. A poem, a participatory song, a baton you haven't touched since 10th grade - all welcome!
A groovy, soulful performance by the Eco-Soul Brothas that flows straight into a dance party. Costumes encouraged (label items you're willing to share).
Campfire and s’mores!
Is there unstructured time? Do I have to attend every activity?
For every attendee, the Greenermind Summit is a totally unique experience; you get to make it what you want. Here are some tips for crafting your summit experience:
There’s no wrong way to do Greenermind - whether you attend every activity or none at all, wander the forest solo, dive into deep conversations, or join spontaneous dance parties. The summit is a flexible container designed to support what you need in each moment. The best gift you can offer yourself is to connect deeply with what YOU are inspired to do.
Embrace JOBI (Joy of Being In) not FOMO (Fear of Missing Out). There will be a lot of things going on simultaneously; choose to be in the moment with whatever you are doing. Also, anytime you find that an activity isn’t working for you, you can always change your mind and do something else (or nothing at all).
🌱Community
Do I have to volunteer for anything?
The Greenermind Summit relies on everyone pitching in. During the weekend, you can sign up for short on-site volunteer shifts to help support the event and everyone participates in the final camp cleanup on Sunday. Many attendees find these among the best bonding moments of the weekend!
🌿 We do need a few people who want to arrive early on Friday (by 11am) and be part of the welcome committee - sign up here in the “early arrivals” tab if you are interested!
Also, please be a steward of the space. Clean up after yourself and put in that little bit of extra care to create and maintain functional and inviting spaces for everyone. Let’s keep our shared spaces looking stellar and working smoothly.
Surprise & delight - Can I bring a physical contribution?
Absolutely - new folks have often found it helpful to bring something to contribute, as it connects them to the community and creates interaction topics with others at the event. Past contributions include: flowers, handmade bags, homemade kombucha, cookies, garden produce, soft seating, a telescope.
🌿 If you’d like to contribute your own ideas for little touches to share, please add them here.
Unexpected interactive art, a chai bar at the campfire, a pop-up activity under the redwoods - GMS is entirely created by its attendees. These individual contributions enhance the community, provide points of connection, and help make the experience unique!
Will there be kids at the event?
Yes! We want parents to be able to come to the Greenermind Summit, so we are committed to being a family-friendly event. There will be about 15 children present this year. We’ll introduce the kids and parents at the start of the event, so you can get to know them. Hanging out with the kids is encouraged! Their parents, plus childcare providers, are the kids’ primary caretakers on site, and you’re welcome to help if you wish.
Please note: if you decide to bring cannabis, please do not use it in front of any children. Also, please be responsible around the kids! If there are any teenagers or people under 21 present, they are not allowed to drink alcohol.
What's the code of conduct?
The Greenermind community values safety and consent. The following behaviors may result in being asked to leave and/or not being invited back:
Physically, emotionally, or verbally harming others
Non-consensual touch of any kind
Becoming intoxicated to a level that poses risk to yourself or others
Repeatedly violating community agreements
Can I bring a friend who hasn't registered?
Registration closed on May 1. Please email info@greenermindsummit.com to check if any last minute tickets are available.
